When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb: and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:41
Thank you God for the gifts of the spirit and body, including leaping, loving babies. Hope indeed.
How grateful I am for that thin place at the communion railing - where we gather with the great cloud of witnesses, and earth and heaven meet each other. Grateful indeed.
Blow spirit, blow. Crackle. Whirl and whip around us. Change us. Help us to become the people that you dream we can be. May we embrace the change. And buckle our seatbelts.
Thank you for the power of a pause. A song. A candle. The recollection that I am your child. We all are. Indeed, all shall be well.
May great gusto grow from resurrection joy. Yes. He is risen indeed. Alleluia.
Me? Beloved? I pray that I might hear your call anew as I cross the threshold from this season to the next. Yes. Beloved.
I rest in this moment, so grateful for times and spaces of renewal and the promises they hold.
May I know, really know, that I am held deep in your heart.
May God's grace enfold you, and delightfully adorn you in love.
Is it possible, Oh God, that together, we can feed the world? In love. In grace. Teach us to work together.
In Gabriel's presence, might i have had the courage to say "Yes. Here am I!"? On the other hand, how could I keep from singing?! Basking in the glow. Grateful.
This morning, I turn to the light in prayer. This morning. And again. And again. Eager to be transformed.
As you cross the many thresholds of this day, may you be met with love and grace at every turn.
Love wins. Every time. Alleluia! Alleluia. Alleluia!
Open my eyes to the possibilities of destinies intertwined. Kinetic. Beauty.
Through each of us, may love and grace shine. Brilliantly.
May doorways of love draw us into your grace, Oh God. Always waiting for us. With room for all.
How grateful I am, Oh God, for the layers of love that have formed me. Thank you.
How can I keep from singing?
Here at the table, may we meet grace.
May we find ourselves so eager to meet you. In the eyes of our brothers and sisters, you live.
I long to become empty. Aah. Filled with your sacred presence.
Tended. Nourished. Becoming. Yours.
May holy time find us. Love us. Still.
May we come to know the way ahead as that place that bears the gifts of all who we are and all who we are called to be.
You are the wonder that surfaces from my core. You are a gift, Oh God.
